One of my first jobs was making pizzas—and it escalated from there. Little did I know, that same hustle would serve as the foundation for a successful career in real estate.
My journey into real estate began when I moved to Albuquerque. I’d just come through emotionally tough months and was craving a fresh start and a new community. My aunt and uncle, both seasoned professionals in real estate, encouraged me to get my license. Looking back, real estate was the perfect culmination of everything I’d learned from a lifetime of working in business and serving others.
Hard work is in my DNA. I started working in high school to help my dad. My mom had been diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 15, and as the oldest of five siblings, and my dad working full-time, I knew it was time for me to help raise the rest of the family. I stepped up to care for her and help with my younger brothers and sisters, until my mom passed away, when I was 19.
I got a job at Pizza Hut, working in the kitchen. I was quickly promoted to team leader, then general manager. I handled hiring, training, quality control, customer service, and finances. I realized I loved serving people and leading a team. To this day, I believe great customer service is the foundation of any successful business. When people feel cared for, they come back.
Eventually, I was promoted to traveling manager. Pizza Hut sent me to struggling stores in the surrounding area to turn them around. During that time, I got married and had three beautiful kids: Brooklyn, Jordyn, and Tucker. On the surface, I was living the American Dream.
But the constant work was taking a toll. I was working seven days a week with no balance. Eventually, my marriage ended. Through the divorce, I became the primary parent responsible for the care and upbringing of the kids. I knew what I had to do: quit my job and become the full-time parent they needed. I started doing home inspections, which gave me more flexibility to be present.
By then, I was living in Michigan, raising my kids as a single dad. I got engaged again, but a week before the wedding, the relationship ended—and I had already quit my job to relocate. Heartbroken, I needed a reset. With no reason to stay in Michigan, I moved to Albuquerque, where my family lived.
That decision changed everything. Encouraged by my aunt and uncle, I gave real estate a try—and it fit me perfectly. I already had the discipline and drive from years of being self-employed, which was priceless, cause here’s the thing: success doesn’t just happen—you make it happen. Put in the time, find good mentors, and results will follow. That’s what I found at Century 21.
In 2022, the same year I got my real estate license, I met Emma—now my wife. She had two beautiful children from a previous marriage, Loralai and William. Two years ago, we welcomed our daughter Marlaina, and we have another baby on the way. Emma supports my passion for business, and I feel incredibly lucky because work is more than a day job—it’s something I genuinely love.
I also love being a dad. My oldest is now 17, and with a baby on the way, I’ve got many years of parenting ahead—something I fully embrace. As a family, we enjoy camping and being outdoors. I’m also active in my church, especially volunteering. I help families facing everyday challenges, looking for ways to support them.
Service and hard work are ingrained in who I am. Real estate allows me to serve others, provide for my family, and enjoy the flexibility to be present for what matters most. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
As a REALTOR®, I pride myself on going above and beyond for my clients. I take a hands-on approach to every step of the transaction, making myself as present, supportive, and helpful as possible. Whether it's scheduling and attending home inspections, showing properties to out-of-state clients via video, or walking through homes with their relatives, I’m fully engaged throughout the process.
Communication is one of my top priorities. I make sure my clients always know what’s happening and feel comfortable reaching out at any time. I’m a proactive problem solver who stays focused on one goal: helping my clients achieve theirs with confidence and ease.
From the first point of contact to close and beyond, I personally oversee every detail.
